Navigator's Free Spirit

Unto the skies, his freedom yearning,
Never changing passion for it grows,
Further, farther than anyone knows,
Onward, his own heart guiding; learning.
Roaming soul, at home yet out of place,
Gives the navigator his bearing,
In his thoughts, ever deep, his will caring,
Veering towards a selfless disgrace.
Every day, every dream, keeps him true,
Not showing his pain, must restrain it now;
Pain; tortured in soul by many wrongs.
And as his eyes set into the blue,
In dreams he’ll never forget his vow,
Never, that he’ll find the freedom he so longs.
