The Albatross of which he shoulders
Weighs his soul down with strife,
The fire from his Hell eternally smolders
With the Red Demon in his life.
 
 
A journey down the darkest way
With the Crimson Cross he bears,
Leads him to yet another day,
Where his virtue again dares.

A youth who seemed to fall from grace,
Felt his conscience become a wreck,
But he turned away, refusing to face
The Red Demon’s grip around his neck.
 
Choking his life, choking his will,
The youth must decide what will be;
His heart the Red Demon could not still,
Denouncing the Bloodcloth, he is free.
