Out of all of the TaleSpin poems I've written, and all those I've yet to write, I'm certain this one is my favorite. A tribute to my favorite character of all time, his faults, his virtues, everything that makes him what he is, and what he is, is the navigator.

You know that you felt it You've known it's your friend To know your own freedom To pray it won't end To leave all your worries To set them aside Never knew what life was Unless you have tried To spread your wings and soar To know you can fly To merge with this plane and, the white clouds, the sky Naught below to bind you Didn't know the cost Then finding the other Didn't know you lost Know you'll fly on always as partners, as friends love you share is lasting beyond where earth ends
